- Start with the chest and shoulder measurements, then check the armhole, sleeve opening and length.
- Choose a size that gives comfortable room across the chest when buttoned, without pulling or gaping.
- If you prefer more room, compare the next size up across all measurements before choosing.
The chest measurements of 36, 38 and 40 inches describe the garment, not the body size it will fit. Allow room for movement and your preferred fit; this guide does not assume a particular amount of fabric stretch.
